Instructions
Setting Backup Preferences
- Open Vision Preferences
- Set the desired time increment that backups will occur and how many backups will be retained
Restoring a project backup
- Close Vision
- Right click on a project and select show package contents
- Create a copy of the current store.sqlite
- Place the original in a separate folder and DO NOT DELETE IT
- Find the backup you want to restore
- Backups are located in the backup folder and labeled with date and time
- Copy the desired store.sqlite backup to the root of the project folder
- Close the finder window
- Relaunch vision and open the project used above
- Confirm the project opens successfully and reverted back to the point of the restored backup
Restoring the Original Backup
- Close Vision
- Right click on a project and select show package contents
- Open the folder where the original backup is located
- Copy the original store.sqlite backup to the root of the project folder
- Relaunch vision and open the project used above
- Confirm the project opens successfully and reverted back to the point of the restored backup
