If you have 2 projects, you can do this if you are running Vision 3.6
1.) Project 1: Ex. First 2 Quarters of a Game
2.) Project 2: Ex. Quarter 3 & 4
3.) Take project 2, and
3A: File > Export> Raw Media
3B: File > Export> Vision Transfer File
4.) Project 1
4A: Settings Tab > Video > Import ("+" symbol, middle of the video window) > Import the 3/4 media you export from project 2 to timeline already in Project 1, which would give you either 2 segments or 4 if its broken by half or quarter.
4B: File > Import > Vision Transfer File ( the export & named file for Project 2)
5.) The VTF (Vision Transfer File) import window will ask, in the VTF File there is (ex. period 3/4 from project 2 media) what do you want to assign this VTF to, select "import and assign to" the Period 3/4 media.
IF you are not on 3.6
You can do part 2 and 3A. Then do this
3B: File> Export > Tags to CSV
4A: same as above( so the timeline, either first half or first two quarters) result should be either 1 media portions (2 halves) or 2 media portions (4quarters)
4B: File > Import> Tags from CSV and select the game event
** this will require you to bump the tags for half 2 or quarter 3/4 so they start when the 2nd half starts
see how to do this here: Bump Tool: Move Clips Along Timeline in this article it will show the bump clips window, you want to choose "imported tags" not the "categories & tags" section.
