How to Create Tagging Template

What is a Tag?

A Tag in vision is an instance that is applied to an event or a specified time interval of a video for the purpose of identification and/or grouping by the label for analysis. Any label can be used as a Tag and a group of Tags can then be organized into Categories for easier navigation. Tags can be created from the Settings tab before tagging a session or from the Tagging tab while tagging a session. How to Create Tags & Tag Categories

1. Navigate to the Settings Tab to create new Tags, Tag Categories and Tag shortcuts for a project.
   
   

2. Ensure the Tags & Shortcuts tab is selected.

3. To add a new Tag Category, click the '+ Category' button in the bottom left corner of the Tag Collection box. A tag creation popup window will appear
   
   

4. To add a new Tag to a specific Tag Category, click the listed Tag Category and then click the '+Tag" button in the bottom left corner of the Tag Collection box. A newly created tag will be prompted to be renamed. If a Tag Category isn't selected, a new Tag will be generated under a generic New Tag Category. 

5. Once your Tags/Tag Categories have been created in the Tag Collection Box, the user can click and drag the Tag/Tag Categories from the Tag Collection Box to change the order that they appear in. 
   
   

How to Delete a Tag or Tag Category 

1. To delete a Tag or Tag Category, select the Tag or Tag category from the Tag Collection Box and click the '-' button in the bottom right corner of the Tag Collection box. NOTE: Deleting a Tag Category will delete all Tags within the Tag Category. 
   
   

How to Change the Color of a Tag

1. To change the color of a Tag, double click the Tag in the Tag collection Box. Click the red box to select a default color or click the sphere to select a custom color. Click OK.
