How to Add Video to a Project

How to Add a Single or Multiple Full Video(s) to a Project

1. Navigate to the Settings Tab to add and delete video files to an open project.
   
   

2. Ensure the Video tab is selected.

3. Click the (+) button in the bottom left hand corner under the Video box. 

   

4. From the pop up file explorer menu, locate and click to highlight the video files you want to import.

5. To import multiple video file, press cmd and click multiple video files to highlight them. Once the video files are selected, the user has the option to import the selected videos as one video or separate videos.
   
   Importing the multiple video files as one video will make all of the selected video files segments that are grouped under a Video title in the Video Box. Importing the multiple video files as separate will create individual Video titles in the Video Box for each of the selected video files. 
   
   

6. Video can be imported by copying/duplicating or moving the selected video files. If you want to maintain the original movie file for another use, we suggest you duplicate the movie(s). If you will only be using the movies inside Vision, you will save hard drive storage by moving the movie files.

7. Click Open to import.

8. Once your video has been loaded in the Video Box, you can click and drag the Video Titles from the Video Box to select the order they will appear in the timeline as well as the order they appear in your playlists.
   
   

How to Add a Video Segment(s)

1. Navigate to the Settings Tab to add and delete video files to an open project.
   
   

2. Ensure the Video tab is selected.

3. Click to select the Video Title from the Video Box that you would like to add the video segment to.  

4. Click the (+) button in the bottom left hand corner under the Video Segment Box. 
   
   

5. Video can be imported by copying/duplicating or moving the selected video files. If you want to maintain the original movie file for another use, we suggest you duplicate the movie(s). If you will only be using the movies inside Vision, you will save hard drive storage by moving the movie files.

6. Click Open to import.

7. Once the segment(s) has been loaded in the Video Segment Box, you can click and drag the Segment Titles from the Video Segments Box to select the order they will appear in the Video file timeline.
