What is Published to a New or Existing Project
Publishing playlists from a project into a new or existing project will export the playlists from the original project and import them as full videos into a new or an existing project. The clips within a playlist from the original project will then become video segments within a full video in the new or existing project.
How to Publish to a New or Existing Project
-
To create a new project, select File from the Vision menu bar. Click New (Command, N). From the New Project Menu that is automatically prompted, name the project and click OK. The new project will automatically open, choose the destination where you want to save your project and click Save. Once saved, close this project.
-
Navigate back to the original project and open the Organize tab.
-
Select 'Organize' from the Vision menu bar and choose 'Publish.'
-
From the Publish menu, click on the drop down menu 'Athlete App' and change to 'Existing Project'.
-
From the drop down menu that automatically populates beside the 'Existing Project' drop down menu, select the project that you want to publish to.
-
A check mark beside 'Open destination project' will open the project after you Publish the clips. If it is not selected, once you leave this menu you will remain in your current project.
-
The Media Prefix will add the typed in name to the front of the name of the full videos in the new Project. This is optional. The name of a full video can be changed from the Settings Tab of the new/existing project. Please see our guide How to rename a Video.
-
To select a playlist to publish, click the box beside the playlist name to create a check mark.
-
Once all playlists are selected, click the Orange Publish Box in the bottom right corner of the pop up window.
