How to Create a New Playlist from Clips in other Playlists

Creating a New Playlist from Flagged Clips

1. Navigate to the Organize Tab to trim tagged clips.

   

2. Click on the Tag from the Project Summary Box to bring up a playlist of clips that this selected Tag has been applied to. The playlist will populate under the Video Window.   

3. From the playlist area navigate to the Flag column. For each clip you want to add to the new playlist, click the area under the Flag column on the corresponding clips' row until an orange flag populates. 
   
   

4. Right click anywhere in the playlist and select 'Copy Flagged Clips.' The Playlists Destination  menu will automatically be prompted.
   

   

5. Flagged clips can only be added to Playlists. The user can create new sections and playlists by clicking the 'New Session' button or the 'New Playlist' button. Click to highlight the playlist you want to add the flagged clips to and select Copy.

Dragging and Dropping clips into a New or Existing Playlist

1. To create a new Playlist, click the +New Playlist button at the bottom of the Project Summary box.  

2. At any point you can drag and drop clips from a playlist into another playlist listed in the Project Summary box. Clips that you drag and drop will be duplicated and placed in the new playlist.
