Playback Options
To playback while Tagging or Organizing your video you have two options: manipulating Playback with the TrackPad or with the Keyboard. User also have the ability to set a second Playback Speed that they can toggle on/off by pressing (command,Y).
How to Set Playback Speeds
- From the Vision menu bar at the top of your Mac computer click Vision and then select Preferences.
- From each of the drop down menus for Default Fast Forward Rate and Default Rewind Rate, select the rate you want to use.
How to Playback Video with the TrackPad
- To use the TrackPad for playback the mouse must be over the video window
- You can now two finger scroll to the right to control Fast Forward speed
- You can now two finger scroll to the left to control Rewind speed
How to Playback Video with the Keyboard
- Play = Space Bar
- Fast Forward = Shift, Right Arrow
- Faster Fast forward = Shift, Up Arrow
- Fast Rewind = Shift, Left Arrow
- Faster Rewind = Shift, Down Arrow
- Frame by Frame Forwards = Right Arrow
- Frame by Frame Backwards = Left Arrow
How to Set and Use a Secondary Playback Speed
- From the Vision menu bar at the top of your Mac computer click Vision and then select Preferences.

From the drop down menus for Secondary Playback Rate select the rate you want to set.

To toggle between the Default Playback Rate and the Secondary Playback rate while reviewing video press (command,Y) or navigate to Playback on the Vision menu bar and click Use Secondary Playback Speed to toggle it on/off.
