Exporting Tags & Categories (to XML & CSV)

With Catapult Vision, users can export Tag Collections in multiple ways. In this Article, we will look at exporting Tags to a CSV File and to an XML File.

To Create a CSV of your Tag Collections follow these steps:

1. Select File then Export

2. Select Tags to CSV

3. The pop-out save window will let you choose the specific event you wish to export via a dropdown menu, name it and choose a save location. 

To Create an XML of your Tag Collections follow these steps:

1. Select File then Export

2. Select SC XML

3. The pop-out save window will let you choose the specific event you wish to export via a dropdown menu.

4. You can Select Tags, Categories or Tags & Categories to Export. (see below for export differences)

•         In Tags Only (first highlight), you get the Naming of the Tag and in/out points
•         In Category Only (second highlight), you get the Naming of the Category and in/out points
•         In Both Tag & Category (third highlight), you get the Tag & Category and in/out points

The Images below, show the resulting reimport of the three XML export types:

1.) Tag Only: Comes in as a "Default" Category and Default Yellow Tag Color

2.) Category Only: Comes in as a "Default" Category and Default Yellow Tag Color

3.) Category & tag: Comes in as a "Default" Category and Default Yellow Tag Color

           *Note within Vision, this reimport will concatenate the Category and Tag as this workflow is not

              specifically for Vision - please use VTF for importing back to Vision, to retain structure
